How does the PowerShift Battery stay in place in the M1?

The PowerShift battery is held in place two different ways.

The locking pin and plastic tab help guide the battery connectors into the engaged position when swapping and keep the battery from moving left to right when engaged. To keep the battery from moving forward and disengaging while riding, there’s a ridge along the bottom of the battery bay door that holds the battery at the top, locking the battery connectors into place and not allowing you to close the battery bay door unless the battery is fully engaged.
